FAQs

What Is Mediation?

Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution process that allows the parties to create and explore options to resolve their case on their own terms. Resolutions that result from mediation are often much more satisfying for the parties than one that comes from a judge.

What Does The Mediator Do?

A mediator is a neutral & impartial third party that facilitates the negotiation process. We help parties communicate better to identify the issues of their conflict from an objective standpoint & aid in creating solutions to those issues.

How Long Does Mediation Take?

Every case is unique, which means there is no standard time length. We block our entire day for your case, but you do not have to use it. Most cases conclude in a few hours, but some take multiple sessions.

Do I Need An Attorney?

An attorney is not required for you to mediate. We mediate cases with attorneys on both/all sides, cases where one party has an attorney and the other doesn't, and cases where neither/none of the parties have attorneys.
